DMS11 will be starting the first Youth Development Academy in conjunction with the Gracie movie in October 2007. The purpose of the academy is to give young players a solid foundation in technical skills. This will provide them the footing to venture into the competitive world of soccer with confidence through development. 

Dan Metcalfe will personally host the Academy and will limit the numbers of players. This will allow full development and personal attention with the most developmental  program used nationally through the best selling Super Soccer Skills training system. Dan will work hands on with each player to guide them to levels beyond parents' expectations. Dan has trained players from as young as 8 years old, under his personal guidance, and seen his players play in Division 1 colleges, the Olympic Development Program, National teams and the professional ranks. Players he has trained from the age of 8 are now fulfilling their dreams both on and off the field. There will also be coaches from the DMS11 Team to work with the young players, in conjunction with Dan, and become role models of how to work hard, build a ‘Big Brother’ Soccer Relationship and have fun with each  Academy player.  

The Academy will be $295 the first month and $250 for players returning each month thereafter. Included will be the DMS11 Under Armour training uniform (some limitations), the Super Soccer Skills DVD and 1 x 2 hour session per week. The focus will be on individual development with 1 player, 1 ball work, leading to 2 player 1 ball work. The players will be given challenges to work on at home. This will add to their enjoyment of soccer. DMS11 will develop the young player  to enable them to go back to their own team and perform with the edge that DMS11  players consistently do.
